Tutoring Style:
Each student is given the opportunity to learn at their own pace, in their chosen medium with no restriction on subject matter within a small class environment. More formal notes are available to support teaching of techniques and art theories for those who may be interested.

What I teach:
I teach many media, at times, several in the one class. A wide variety of media choices are available: Oil [traditional and water based]; acrylic; watercolour and w/c pencil; pastels; gouache, charcoals and pencils; glass paint; modelling materials; sculpture; inks, casein and basic mosaics. Your choice of media is only limited by the size of my studio and what you can afford. I supply materials for beginners for as long as you are 'finding' your medium and once settled can assist in purchasing your own supplies.

: In the Canberra Glassworks on a slump glass course.
In order to keep myself up to date with art trends and methods, I attend workshops to advance my skills as in life drawing; acrylics; portraiture; sculpture and glass works. I read extensively, have access to a modest art library that is shared with students. I produce art theory notes from this reading assisted by a large resource base and my own experience both as an artist and through teaching all ages, children through to adults.
